Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
Since May 2024, the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) has been revolutionizing access to oral health care in Canada. This government program aims to provide substantial financial assistance to millions of Canadians, making dental care more affordable. At Clinique Dentaire Métro Papineau, we enthusiastically welcome this initiative, and are ready to assist you in the process.
What is CDCP?
The RCSD provides partial dental coverage for eligible individuals, including children, adults with recognized disabilities and families with modest incomes. It covers essential services such as examinations, cleanings, fillings and extractions, but excludes certain cosmetic and specialized treatments.
What should you expect during your visit?
For RCSD beneficiaries, it’s important to bring your program card and photo ID. Please note that the program reimburses a portion of fees, but some costs may remain your responsibility.
Please also note that there are a number of exclusions:
Composite or ceramic veneers
Tooth whitening
Inlays
Fixed prostheses (bridges)
Bruxism appliances
Mouthguards
Implants and all implant-related procedures
Bone grafts
Complex complete/partial prostheses
Major rehabilitations
